UK couple found guilty of selling counterfeit goods ordered to pay £75,000

After another successful operation involving surveillance and Trading Standards officers allied to TRAP, A couple from Surrey, England were ordered to pay a fine of £75,000.

Reporting of the crime on TV this morning lead to outrage, when it was revealed that not only were musicians and popular brands targeted by the counterfeit scam, but a leading charity.

Many people had been duped into believing that some of the popular products being sold would benefit national cancer charity Cancer Research UK.
